The Oast is set within the curtail-age of a Grade II listed country house, parts of which date from the 16th Century.

The approach was to take great care to ensure the appearance and character of the original building was preserved whilst insulating to modern standards.  Works included new foundations, drainage, carpentry and bespoke joinery.

Scope: Listed Oast Conversion

Location: East Sussex

Architect: Colin Sharp Architecture

A large amount of skill and pride was installed by the team.  It’s a wonderful feeling being part of bringing an old building back to life, especially an Oast house as they are such a distinctive feature of the landscape in the South East.  A project to be proud of!
